Telemedicine Visits – Call us to set up and use your HEALOW app!

Amid the recent pandemic of the Coronavirus/COVID-19, we want to reassure you that your health and safety are our main priority. We will be adapting our schedule for the next two weeks to ensure that we are protecting you. We want to help minimize your potential exposure to this virus as well as the exposure of our employees. If you are symptomatic (fever (>100.4), cough, runny nose, sore throat, short of breath) PLEASE do not come into the clinic. Call our office and we will discuss our process for drive-thru COVID-19 testing with you.

PREGNANT PATIENTS:

If you are WELL and have no symptoms – we want you to keep your scheduled appointments. We understand that some of you might choose to delay your appointment. If you are not having an acute issue and are <28 weeks, please call and let us know ahead of time to reschedule. If you are >28 weeks or having any acute problems, we want to see you. We will not be rescheduling any inductions or Cesarean Sections at this time, we will let you know if that changes. Please be aware of the new CVMC/L&D Visitor Policy, restricting each patient to TWO visitors (no swapping out allowed).

GYNECOLOGY PATIENTS:

If you are WELL and have no symptoms – we also want you to keep your scheduled appointments. We understand if you have a non-urgent issue (annual exam, IUD placement, Sonogram) and would like to postpone your visit, but please call us in advance and let us know. For visits that do not necessarily need an exam, (discussing medications or other non-acute issues) we will be starting Telemedicine Appointments in the next few days – so please let us know if you would be interested in a “Virtual Visit” and we will get that scheduled.

If you recently had surgery and have no problems, we will postpone your exam for 2 weeks. However, if you have ANY issues we want to see you.

If you need medication refills, please call the clinic during business hours and let us know. You can also send a Web Portal message if that is more convenient for you.

While we limit our physician exposure to patients and adjust call schedules, know that you may be asked to see someone other than your regular provider. Please be flexible with us if possible.

We will be updating you if and when plans change, and as we learn more every day about this virus. The most important thing to remember is to WASH YOUR HANDS and stay away from large groups of people as much as possible as this unfolds. Please call us with any questions or concerns that you might have.
